I had a disappointing dinner last night at Landini. If you view my posts over the last decade you will see that I have always given this location high marks but last night dinner was awful. Our server was horrible and the food was just meh. My wife is just ok with Landini so in addition to a lousy dinner with lousy service I had to put up with “I told you so” for the rest of the evening. I will take an extended break from Landini and give them a chance to redeem themselves...
This is our go to higher end Italian restaurant. Service is uniformly good excellent and you get to know your wait staff as they have mostly been there forever. Food is fantastic. Their veal is superb. The wine list is extensive and fairly reasonable.
We had a wonderful lunch at Landini's. The food, service, and beautiful weather made it truly special. Sitting outside while enjoying the street music added such a lovely touch to the whole experience, thank you! I did mention that it was a birthday meal, but unfortunately, there wasn't any acknowledgment, not even a simple greeting.
