Great venue for dinner and live jazz. We ordered the Chicken Fettuccine.
Julienned chicken tossed in olive oil with sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese. The dish was big enough to share. Good atmosphere and the most warm and friendly staff looked after us well.

I had a relaxing and enjoyable evening after having a challenging work trip. It is tough to travel alone and feel comfortable eating or drinking alone, which I I do quite a bit for business. I am heavily reliant on other reviews so I want to share to my traveling friends. The mussels verde and shrimp pasta dish were delicious. The carrot cake was also delicious!Bartender was fantastic! My old fashions were great! Overall, seemed to have a very good selection of cocktails and beer. He was very attentive and he recommended my dinner selections based on what I told him I was interested in. Great experience and impeccable service!

Weird experience. Made a reservation weeks in advance to sit in the jazz room for Valentine’s Day. Got put all the way in the back corner by a door where we had no space. Many open tables. Kind of sucked, especially bc I’m paying $30 more for the jazz room. Then the service was average at best. Didn’t bring silverware, steak knives, ask to refill drinks, or temperature for the steak. They wanted us out in “90” mins but the jazz was off for 45 of those mins (mind you the reservation was 8pm, so why’d I pay for this room?). All in all this has a lot of potential but the experience was candidly poor. Will decide on if I want to come back or not.

The chocolate cake (GF) was to die for. Food was excellent, music was very good, elegant atmosphere. The menu was a bit pricy for me and not many GF options.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was even better. Nina was incredibly attentive and made the best hot chocolate with Baileys. She truly made our evening special.

Greetings, tiny cozy bar area. Was one other customer & us so we chatted with that person. Then we headed to dining room for dinner/drinks. Jazz band was definitely a nice touch to the night & got us to stay much, much, longer than intended . I don't think the staffs are used to easy fast spenders & lively people like us. Thank you.
The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location was conveniently close to our hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and cheerful, which set the tone for a great evening. My wife ordered the Mahi curry and said it was the best she's ever had. The presentation was like an artwork, and the flavors matched the beauty on the plate—truly memorable. She also has a gluten allergy, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations, which made the experience even better. A wonderful night from start to finish.
Really nice happy hour

While Laporta's advertises "Live Jazz" every night, last night was something a little different: a three piece group playing folk and blues back from the 20's and 30's. A nice change up and some really good music that took me to a place and time that I had not personally experienced.
I had read that there would be a jazz band playing during brunch but there wasn't and we were disappointed because that was the primary reason we had brunch at the restaurant.

Pleasant staff, the music was great, and even my 4 year old grandson enjoyed his stay.

As always-such a wonderful time with delicious food, friendly staff and great jazz! We had a good friend in from out of town, his first time here, he loved it!
It was the best considering it was our New Year's family dinner , the jazz was perfect , the staff were super nice and friendly. The food was delicious and the service was on time. They were prepared for this holiday. It was amazing !
It was a nice place to go for dinner and music on NYE. But it felt like they crowded in as many tables as they could possibly squeeze in and servers were constantly swerving by our table. My salad appetizer was good but my entree was very dry and my blueberry cobbler was super salty and the blueberries weren't sweet at all. I ended up not eating much of those 2 courses... the music was a nice touch but I don't think I would choose to go there again for NYE.
I just moved to the area, and this has become my FAVORITE PLACE. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is picture perfect and delicious. You can tell the chef looks at every single order and makes sure they are served to perfection. This is wo wonderful. I would've provided a better photo, but I devoured most of the glorious mussels before taking the PIC!!!
