Live jazz; perfect ambiance; excellent food -- couldn't ask for more! The service was perfect, even though the venue was packed; and the cocktails and specials were delicious: trout and monk fish. We loved the tribute band of Natalie Cole by Tygressa. All in all, an amazing evening with a room filled with like-minded jazz enthusiasts. We will return again and again.
As a road warrior I am constantly eating out. Last month I came in for dinner and was surprised at the menu and an amazing staff. Brian the bartender was amazing. Fast forward one month and I purposely picked the Residence Inn which is next door to Laportas. If you’re searching for a great chef and homemade meals look no farther. Sit in the bar dining room and ask Brian to make you an awesome drink. Wine list is great as well.
Laporta's food, service, and atmosphere never disappoints! Bonus for us: live performances by our favorite local jazz entertainment, Sharon Clark, Steve Washington, Aleks Izatov, and Steve Arnold!
