If I lived in Alexandria or a nearby area, I’d be here once a week. However, I live in Baltimore so I try to come as often as possible. I’ve never had a bad meal, and I’ve been going here for about two years now.
I'm not overly fond of Mexican food, but i was pleasantly surprised when I had dinner at this restaurant (twice). My family had recommended it, so we went for dinner with family and friends who were visiting from California and Canada.

Feels like a neighborhood restaurant. Probably a ton of repeat business from the local folks. Ordered the carnitas, carne asada, birria quesadilla, and chicken quesadilla to go. The portions are huge and can easily be two meals. The only one we didn’t enjoy was the birria. Never had it that soggy. Expected a crunchy texture.
