I’m a regular customer who would frequently buy their bread and injera. Their customer Service was a 0. The lady of the store was awfully rude with a huge attitude.Although the two men who works there is very respectful. I do not suggest you buying from this store.

Used to be my favorite place to get Injera. Went couple weeks ago and the lady was so rude. I bought Kinchay which stated that it was $5.75 on the package and after I checked out I noticed on the receipt it I was charged $7.95. When I asked the lady why was I overcharged she got aggressive and mad and did not want to explain why I was charged more. I tried to explain to her if it was a mistake it is ok but I wanted an explanation and she refused. The way that she treated me is not how a store worker should treat a Customer. She then refused to ever serve me again.

Used to be my favorite spot but they must have had a staff change or something because the last few times i ordered it was just not even close to what it used to be. I'll try again in a few months and hopefully they'll have sorted out whatever issue is going on right now. But for now they kinda suck. Wishing them the best in getting back on track but won't be ordering for a while :(

I am a regular customer but today I was very disappointed charging more when purchasing at the store. It’s the owner who charged me for an item priced differently knowing that the price was wrong and also why charging extra when using Debit Card it’s not even credit card he said if it is less than $10 we charge fee??!! Never heard of this plus they need to say before charging the card. I advise everyone to check your receipt when buying things from Ethiopian store. They are overcharging and you won’t be able to notice until you see your receipt!!! It’s a shame!!!!

I ordered chicken doro wat, but there was one tiny chicken thigh in the meal that I paid $13 with bread. At first I thought they made a mistake, but realized that it was not the mistake by reading another review. Wasted my money here...

This place is a hidden gem. You NEED to try the dried beef that they sell here. It isn't really advertised so you might need to ask for it over the counter. Heads up: It is tough to chew, but because there is so much flavor, you can sinply let it slowly melt away in your mouth.
Very very small portions and zero meat on the chicken meals. I ordered the "Chicken Doro Wot" and the "Chicken Doro Alicha" meals. What I received was greasy sauce and an egg for one dish and greasy sauce, a chicken bone, and an egg in the other dish. When I called to complain there was no meat in either dish the lady on the phone kept arguing with me that she prepared the "sauce and bone" herself and did not comprehend the fact you cannot advertise a meal as having chicken if it is just sauce and a bone. She also hung up on me! How cheap can you get? I try to support local businesses but their cheapness and stinginess compelled me to write this review warning others of their shady business practices. I have attached a photo of what I received versus a photo of how they advertise the dish on their menu. I got burned. For decent Ethiopian food I guess I will have to make the drive to Alexandria next time because this place is triflin and shady!

I had no idea this pickery was here. What are the first time the other day after living in the area for over 10 years. The bakery is very clean hand the owner is extremely nice. You can tell that they really want you to be happy with the service product. I really enjoyed it and will absolutely be back!
