i went there today because I wanted to try their food. First off real small place. I walked in and was ignored for 5 minutes because the guy was on the phone. Then I tried to order food and even showed him the name from their website menu and he just kept shaking his head no like he had no clue what I was talking about then I showed him the item again from their website with pictures attached and still nothing so I finally just left. But after reading the other reviews I guess I was lucky I didn't get any food.

A nice and local Ethiopian restaurant...ordered the doro wot with lentils and it was neatly individually portioned. The injera was amazing. A great place to stop if you are looking for Ethiopian in the Burke/ Springfield area. Give Mena's a try!

I just appreciate the delivery was exactly as I requested. This was sent to my dad on Father's Day and he was recovering from the vid so he thoroughly enjoyed his meal (still had his taste)!

I ordered chicken doro wat, but there was one tiny chicken thigh in the meal that I paid $13 with bread. At first I thought they made a mistake, but realized that it was not the mistake by reading another review. Wasted my money here...

Delicious food, but the serving sizes are puny. My doro wot was about three ounces of chicken. It was delicious but for $17 it's not even close to worth it. If they start giving out reasonable portions I'll come back.

This place is a hidden gem. You NEED to try the dried beef that they sell here. It isn't really advertised so you might need to ask for it over the counter. Heads up: It is tough to chew, but because there is so much flavor, you can sinply let it slowly melt away in your mouth.

Very very small portions and zero meat on the chicken meals. I ordered the "Chicken Doro Wot" and the "Chicken Doro Alicha" meals. What I received was greasy sauce and an egg for one dish and greasy sauce, a chicken bone, and an egg in the other dish. When I called to complain there was no meat in either dish the lady on the phone kept arguing with me that she prepared the "sauce and bone" herself and did not comprehend the fact you cannot advertise a meal as having chicken if it is just sauce and a bone. She also hung up on me! How cheap can you get? I try to support local businesses but their cheapness and stinginess compelled me to write this review warning others of their shady business practices. I have attached a photo of what I received versus a photo of how they advertise the dish on their menu. I got burned. For decent Ethiopian food I guess I will have to make the drive to Alexandria next time because this place is triflin and shady!

I had no idea this pickery was here. What are the first time the other day after living in the area for over 10 years. The bakery is very clean hand the owner is extremely nice. You can tell that they really want you to be happy with the service product. I really enjoyed it and will absolutely be back!
