Excellent wait staff, chef, service. ambience, and the best weekly special value in the DMV area. Thank you for keeping costs at bay, and I appreciate the chef who went above and beyond to bring the main course to our table. What could be approved is managing the noise level better. I always come early to not have to shout so loud. Once more people come in, it's impossible to hold a conversation at the standard tables.
Meh service. Seated at 8:40. Server took drink order and drinks took a while to arrive. She came over for food order at 9:20 and we asked about specials that ran until 9:00 (reminded her that we sat down at 8:40) but she told us that it was too late to get the specials.
I rarely write reviews but happy to do so for this place. The food is tasty, fresh and well priced. And they are very hospitable ; it was a real pleasure meeting Paul and Nelson on our last visit - super friendly guys! We’ll definitely be visiting this established gem in Old Town again.
