Visiting DC and the surrounding area from Cleveland, OH. After a long day visiting the monuments, we came across this restaurant. Friendly service, clean all the way around, and WOW! All the meats were so delicious and moist (half rack ribs and pulled pork), the sides were fantastic (the cornbread was a hit!). Even though we won’t be able to visit again, we highly recommend this to any visitors or locals!!
The brisket plate was very good and was able to share a rib with someone. Fall-off-the-bone with good flavor. Their original sauce has a little sweetness to it.
Collards were amazing, ribs were super tender and delicious, service is superb. Very clean interior. Excited to come back again!

Visitors and locals are highly recommended to try the smoked brisket with Mama’s slaw, a heavenly experience for meat lovers. The lemonade might seem too sweet at first, but paired with the amazing sauces, it hits the spot perfectly. The smokiness, moisture, and textures of the meats, including chicken, pork, and beef, make it some of the best BBQ around.
