I drove 5 hours just try the dinner cruise, the boat was very old, needs some remodeling, however the crew was nice, the food was good, they didn’t let me sample the wine before buying a bottle, but overrall it was ok. I’ve been on better boats.
Great food, music, service and fabulous views await each visitor. Just remember to arrive early for window seating. While you wait for dinner go up on deck. The waiter will find you when your dinner is served. If you want to dance, there is a dance floor. I highly recommend Nina’s Dandy! Also there is a free trolley that runs up and down King street. Just hop on at the clearly marked stops. So many places to visit in Old Town Alexandria.
I wish I could give it 3.5 stars.General Facts:1. The dinner cruise is about 3 hours long and travels about 14 miles round trip.2. The only thing that is paid for with ticket purchase is the salad, entree and dessert. Coffee, soda, all alcoholic beverages are extra and billed at the end of dinner.3. Rolls are endless and the butter is delicious.4. The pianist plays for about the first half of the cruise. Then, modern pop music is played.5. Pictures are taken at upon entering...
