We are so glad that we had Old Blue BBQ as our wedding caterers. I have some foodie friends (even - gasp - vegetarians) and everyone LOVED the food - even the Texans! Old Blue is the real deal. Kari was amazing at making the space feel warm and fun from the brideshare collection. They made my wedding day beautiful, delicious and stress free. Could not recommend more!

Have came here many times since I discovered them a few months ago. The service is AMAZING, everyone is so detailed and friendly. My favorite items are the rosemary lemonade and French fries, I suggest you try those!

I’m a barbecue lover and I was excited to try this place. I’ve never heard of them. I ordered through DoorDash and get a brisket sandwich with Mac n Cheese. The brisket meat was great! Very tender and flavorful, and the Texas barbecue sauce was good. But… the sandwich had more chewy chunk of fat than meat, resulting in me opening my sandwich, picking out the chunks of fat, and leaving a big pile of fat on my plate. Brisket will have some fat, but not that much! The Mac n cheese had hardly any taste and was spiral noodles. It had a little spice which I appreciated, but none of the rich creaminess of southern Mac n cheese. Will not be ordering from them again. I threw away more than half of the $20 dish.

We are so happy we picked Old Blue to cater our wedding! As a couple that met in KC, a fantastic barbeque dinner for our reception was the perfect way to celebrate! Throughout the whole planning process, Kari and team did an amazing job explaining to us what they needed from us and were more than happy to answer our endless amount of questions. Months later we still get comments about how good the food was. Finally, the bridal share was an absolute lifesaver for us as it helped us get a lot of ‘one off’ items that are needed for a wedding.

Had them for our wedding reception. the food was great according to the guests loved it. unfortunately like all weddings, we did not get to finish our food haha. sauces were a hit from all the feedback i received from our guests. also the people were wonderful to work with and helped us a lot with the decorations. PHENOMENAL!!! The food is aahhhmazing. Every SINGLE Bite! They catered my church luncheon today and I had 2 plates. If you know me...you know I don't eat that much, but every item was amazing. The silverware is "super fancy plastic" in my church sister's voice. Just beautiful!

Kari & her team were a great addition to my wedding vendor team. Kari was always quick to respond to emails and very helpful with any changes I need especially when it came to a fluctuating guest count last minute. She even made an additional trip to my venue pre-wedding day to make sure all the logistics were in order. My only request was that I got to eat mac and cheese on my wedding day and they absolutely delivered! The food was top notch and my guests were talking about it all weekend. Even with a buffet service, the team was kind enough to bring plates to my grandparents at the table and they packed up to to go boxes for my husband and I to eat that night. Thank you Kari and team for an excellent night!
