The ability to make reservations with the hostess over the phone was very accommodating. In contrast, the cleanliness was very questionable. When we initially walked in the entryway, there's a fowl odor (the smell of the last time the place was cleaned was probably before their grand opening). Met a friend for lunch at Osaka. Staff is very friendly. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant as we got there pretty late in the day.
We both ordered the steak and shrimp combo. This comes with a small bowl of miso soup, a small salad, steamed rice and vegetables. The salad was very nice, had a delicious dressing. Love this restaurant. Usually go for hibachi, which never disappoints, but this time I got sushi. It was wonderful and the gentleman who served us at the sushi bar was very friendly and efficient!
