We dined here a while back, and we liked the food. It was freshly cooked with balanced flavors in each dish. The service was decent, and the place was decorated with Thai elements, which made our dining experience exceptional.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available for children.

Crispy spring rolls and lemon grass soup were good. Shrimp pad Thai probably the worst I’ve ever had and the shrimp was overcooked and flavorless. The Ka prao, chicken didn’t taste fresh, flavor was okay but def nothing to write home about. Never

Ok food but not going to bring me back. It’s very nice inside and could be a date place if ambiance is more important than the food. There’s free parking nearby which is nice and the service is great, but found the food (entree) underwhelming. The crispy spring rolls were pretty good. The Tom Kha soups were absolutely delicious and I therefore thought the main meals would be equally delicious, but weren’t. My wife had pad Thai, which was very sweet, and not in a good way. My drunken spaghetti (which was recommended) was average in flavor and had no spice to it.

Kingstowne location arriving around 5:45 pm. The place already had dinners enjoying their meal. I ordered the Shrimp bikini as an appetizer. The 5 large thinly breaded shrimp came in a very thin deep fried edible basket, along with lettuce and spiralized carrots, and a homemade sweet and sour dipping sauce. I decided on the Panang chicken curry as my main entree. The dish came with white rice. I found the spiciness to be catered to american tastes. I requested a Thai condiment tray to add some spiciness to the curry. I found that the sliced white meat chicken to be a bit overcooked. The staff were somewhat attentive but did not follow up much after delivering my entree. Other patrons came in while I was there. I believe that some diners were regulars to the restaurant. I did not have dessert so cannot comment on that.

Okay experience. I had heard about this Thai place for years, but had remained loyal to my usual go-to spot. Today I decided to try Pasara because it's close to my home and I didn't want to drive to Arlington for my usual. The service was great. My takeout was ready when promised. The food portions are good. Pricing is okay - I paid $10 more here than the other place. The biggest disappointment was my food. I can't say that I've ever had more bland, tasteless drunken noodles in my life. They looked normal, the heat was there, but all I could taste were naked noodles. The bell peppers were scarce (I think I counted three). The sauce was virtually nonexistent. Because I didn't want my food to go to waste and I really wanted Thai food, I ended up driving to Arlington anyway, going to the usual spot and mixing those drunken noodles in with the ones I got from Pasara. I'm glad I gave it a try but there are better spots (for me) in the area.

I went to the restaurant today for lunch, and always enjoy the care they take to season their food, well done. However, I ordered a hot tea, ginger and honey, and was surprised the cost was $6.00. Also on the receipt they recommend tips, 18%, 20% or 22% or other? They are raising their tips from the 10% to 18% and 20-22%. I had a problem with the cost of tea and the tip, We are all looking to manage our money well, and not give it away, just because. Whose responsibility is it to pay your people more?

A nice upscale Thai restaurant without the upscale price. Good food with a nice range of spices, from "not spicy" to "Thai spicy"(only for the very bold). Friendly and helpful staff, a full bar, and a large selection of dishes. You can order family style for all to share, or just individual dishes. It is in the KINGSTOWNE mall, so there is plenty of parking nearby.

This is a local restaurant we like to visit on a weekend. The ambience is welcoming with fun carved tables and scenes of Thailand on the walls. This time we had the fresh spring rolls, pad Thai Jae, Lad Na, and Pad Poy Sean. The spring rolls were well made with really good sauces. My Pad Thai Jae was excellent. The waiter brought over the spices so you can choose your level of heat. My son wolfed down the Pad Poy Sean and from the tiny bit I tried, the flavor was great. My husband very much enjoyed the Lad Na. We had excellent and attentive service throughout the meal. We will definitely come here again and would recommend it to others looking for a nice Thai sit-down restaurant.

My favourite Thai spot in the DMV. Love the duck basil and their homemade coconut ice cream. Oh and the Lychee martini is the bomb. Highly recommended!
