PLNT Burger Reviews
They used to be good, but they keep getting rid of items people like or replacing them with lower quality items. Like the blooming onions were great, huge fail getting rid of that, also when they had breakfast sandwiches people loved them, but they got rid of them! Next loss was the steakhouse burger. Then they change the meati chicken sandwich to patty which was a great gluten free option to a now gluten containing lower quality tasting tindle patty. Even the quality if their...read full review
The alleged gluten free chicken sandwich using the Meati patty was changed into what looks like the gluten containing gardien chicken patty. I was not notified of this when I ordered and when I called the person on the phone assured me it was the same patty. They are 2 different shapes and sizes. PLNT Burger is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant that offers mainly vegan options that are flavorful and high in protein. Their menu includes burgers, maple mustard, and shakes, as well as unique items like Meati chicken sandwiches and green bean fries. The restaurant is located inside Whole Foods in old Town, with wheelchair accessibility. While it can be crowded due to its location inside a supermarket, parking is available, though it depends on the time of day. Kids are welcomed, and the app makes it easy to order ahead for pick-up while shopping. The shakes are soy-free and do not contain canola oil, using potato protein instead. Customers have enjoyed the fried greens beans, which serve as a good French fry replacement, and the plant-based “chicken” burger, which has been described as one of the best burgers ever. Although the horseradish sauce could have more flavor, overall, customers consistently have positive experiences at PLNT Burger, praising its tasty sauces and great selection of sandwiches, despite some portions being on the smaller side.
