The pork sandwich is good. The chicken sandwich is a healthier option, but who really wants chicken. The staff are friendlier than at their sister restaurant. Not crowded during weekday lunch. The BBQ sauces range from spicy to sweet. I would go back for their daily specials.
Gave the restaurant a try the other day and sadly the quality doesn’t stand up to competition in the area. The Goldie sandwich was pretty good, but the brisket was rather dry. I went to use the barbecue sauces, but they should really have a disclaimer that they are a vinegar shop because literally every flavor they offer Tasted like it was infused with too much vinegar. Additionally, we got the monster mac & cheese, and at no time on the menu does it tell you that it is...
I order the brisket and pull pork combo with baked beans and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious with a wide variety of in house sauces. Service and staff was amazing. Clean spot
