Met up with an old friend here and we were all happy with our food. Great meats and cornbread. The jalapeno Mac is solid but maybe a little spicier than anticipated. I liked the collards but a green bean would go a long way. There was some odd confusion with the beers we tried to order but overall, solid.
A wonderful BBQ spot in the heart of Del Ray. They have insane deals each week. Believe it or not their Taco Tuesday or Sunday dinner is the best “deal” in the DMV.
It’s not a traditional restaurant. You order, they call your name and you serve yourself. Classic booth style seating and a large bar provide a fun and inviting atmosphere.
