I love this place. This is the ONLY African restaurant that tastes just like the food that you get from Grandma’s or my Aunties house. The pepper soup and beans are my go to when I go there.

The food is really good. Really good. The people's personalities are completely different when in person they're way nicer and the price is pretty good for the amount that you pay for and the quantity of the foot is a lot. You got your money worth

(This review is for the restaurant on Richmond Highway in Alexandria, VA) Had a graving for some peanut soup and fufu. I have been to a few African restaurants in the DMV and have never been impressed. Food is usually mediocre and overpriced with small portions. This place didn't disappoint. Staff is friendly, prices are great, portions are more than enough, and the food is great. I got the peanut soup with goat and Jolloff rice with meat. No complaints whatsoever!
