Need to be consistent with the food. The jollof was bland and lacked color and spices. The beef is always tough and chewy when I order it. Other parts are good like the kenkey and red red when i order
Great store and staff! Visited earlier to get someone some traditional Ghana 🇬🇭 food. The guy in the line in front of me was super nice and explained some food items to me like: corn 🌽 mixed with peanut 🥜 butter 🧈 and ginger. 🫚 If you don’t like ginger 🫚 you probably won’t like some of the items. The wife wasn’t a fan. I thought it was delicious and much better than the lemonade we made at Deliver Lean; that was the most ginger thing I have ever had...
This restaurant used to be small, but now they’re expanding—and the food has gotten even better! I’ve eaten fufu here before, and the quality has really upgraded. The prices are perfect, the food is amazing, and I’d love to keep coming back.
For anyone who loves African food, this is a Ghanaian restaurant and probably the best in the DMV area. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots.
