Rocklands serves some of the best BBQ in the DMV! I’ve been going there since they first opened their original location in Georgetown, and the quality has remained excellent and consistently delicious over the years.
The customer service is always great, and I especially love that they offer seasonal specials featuring local ingredients. It’s clear they care about both the food and the community.

Rocklands Alexandria has really excellent food and really wonderful staff. To me this is the best barbecue place in the DMV and the best atmosphere for a barbecue joint. Most of the staff remember me and are more than courteous - kind and friendly in a way that helps one to feel comfortable and makes for a qualitatively better experience than other places in the area.

Should be an easy five stars buuuut, what do you mean their best menu item was only a seasonal special??? 😤

The grilled chicken elote bowl was really something special. It was the perfectly balanced and flavorful slop bowl we all need in our lives. How can this delicacy only be offered in the month of July? Are you kidding me? 😡

I'm laying in bed, August 1st. This dish is no longer available to me. Do I even get...
