The food was good, nothing to rave about! Service was good, the food came out quickly and it was nice and hot! I had the Fried Catfish & Red Beans & Rice! Very favorable and good price for meal! It was Restaurant Week too!

My friend and I went for restaurant week. We both had the Chi crab soup. I had the pecan crusted chicken and she had the shrimp and crawfish etouffee. For dessert I had the bread pudding and she had the chocolate mousse. The food was absolutely delicious!! We also each had the house Sauvignon Blanc which was also delicious and very reasonably priced. We will deg definitely return, and willing to pay full price.

Everything at RTs was excellent except the raw oysters my husband was served. They were not fresh and he had to send them back. Otherwise, all the food was super, including desserts, service was attentive and quick, and the noise level (early on a weekday night) was very quiet. We will definitely go back soon.

When we found out that the Dave Koz concert at The Birchmere was cancelled, naturally we went to dinner at RT's. As usual, we weren't disappointed. I had two appetizers for my dinner, the calamari as a first course and the crawfish and shrimp beignets as my main course. Both were excellent, although the calamari alone would have been enough for dinner. My wife had the she crab soup (excellent as always) and the all-lump crabcakes. The crab cakes had very little filler and large chunks of crab. They were delicious. And the French fries that came with them were perfect! We also had a bottle of the Josh Cabernet (I know, white with seafood, but we're red wine drinkers), which was delicious and not too expensive. RT's is THE restaurant we go to when we're looking for excellent seafood, whether or not we're looking for the Creole / Cajun touch. You should go there too.

This was our first visit to RT's Restaurant. It was a relatively small, but nicely designed, giving off a family restaurant feel. The services was excellent from the time we walked in until departure. The food and drinks were very delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit.

I’m from Baton Rouge, so I associate Cajun food with my birthday and Christmas. This week was my birthday, so we went to RTs for takeout. Wonderful crawfish etoufee, fried catfish, blackened scallops and hush puppies. Delicious!

We really enjoyed RTs. They were very accommodating in regards to our reservations with delays flying into Dulles. We loved creole/cajun food and this just fit the bill. We liked the Death by Gumbo, the She-Crab Soup - pretty much everything we ordered we enjoyed. This is our kind of place.

Really enjoyed dinner!!! Gumbo ad soft shell crabs were fabulous. Crabs were huge!! Desert was blueberry peach pie...again fantastic!! I'm sorry I don't live closer...if so I'd be there weekly or more often!

Food was excellent. I was in a party of ~19 people. Service was great except that I had to ask for water twice before I got it. And then I ordered a drink when I ordered food hoping that the drink would come first but it came out all at the same time (could be because we were a large group).
I ordered the Death by Gumbo and it was excellent. A pretty big order that you could share or take it home.
I also ordered the Shrimp and Crawfish Red Beans & Rice to go and it was delicious, on the milder side of seasoning. They packed it well so it wasn't soggy to eat the next day.

Tried RTS for the first time today. I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Love the atmosphere of the bar when you first walk in. Food was delicious. Customer Service First Rate. I will be back with my girlfriend shortly.

The food was tasty. The passion fruit sangria was very good. It should definitely be added to the regular cocktail menu. Charged more for an entree than what was on the actual menu. There were no modifications or additions to the entree, so I was disappointed in this.
