We have been going there for years! It’s the best Thai food in the area for sure! It’s beautiful inside and deserts are to die for. The reason I took the star off is they increased their prices which is disappointing.
Would not let me and my family change our to go order on the spot into dine in... Bad service... Please do better...
The staff was very courteous and professional. Food and drinks came out quickly and were excellent! I look forward to going back to tryout more of their menu.
Updating my 5⭐️ to 3. We went into Sisters for the first time since having our baby for a family member’s birthday. We brought a party of ten people in on a Wednesday night. We thought the updated menus were lovely but had a bit of sticker shock seeing most things were now $20 starting. And some of the drinks were fine but were noticeably lacking in strength, which is pretty unfortunate when they are a minimum of $17. When we arrived to a nearly empty restaurant without our entire party (a few folks were about 10 minutes or less away), they immediately mentioned the 90 minute time limit (that’s fine, I understand restaurants do this and knew Sisters has as we’ve been here many, many times) begins as soon as anyone sits down. It wasn’t so much the information as the way it set the tone as it was said. We waited outside for our remaining party. When we did get seated, about 10 minutes later, it was 15 minutes before a server even came to our table to get our drink orders. She was friendly enough but unfortunately this is a pretty common experience we’ve had the last few trips to Sisters (inattentive service). The food was great, as always, but that was pretty much the only redeeming quality. And of course, we had to tip 20% for our large party, even though the service was noticeably subpar. Overall, a bit disappointed that Sisters in Old Town ALX just isn’t what it used to be. :(
Best Sister Thai location so far – beautiful space, great service
Out of all the Sister Thai locations I’ve visited, this one easily stands out with its stylish interior and outstanding service. The décor is warm, modern, and thoughtfully put together—it adds so much to the overall dining experience.
The food? Just as delicious as the other branches, which honestly impressed me. It’s great to see that consistency across locations, especially when the flavors are already so solid.
A bonus: the restroom was spotless—super clean and well-maintained. It’s a small detail, but it really does make a difference, especially before or after a meal!
Overall, this spot checks all the boxes: great food, beautiful ambiance, and genuinely kind service. Definitely my favorite Sister Thai branch so far.
Used to love this place but the price increase over 5$per entre makes it a no go. Small portion of vegetarian Drunken noodles, 21$ w/o tax/tip is outrageous.
Service quality decreased over the last year too.
This place does serve good food. It took awhile for the food to come but it was well worth it. The service was very nice.
It was a good experience. We went for my sons graduation. The food was good, but the server was not very personable and she messed up the bill at the end. But I'd go back without a large party.
Was here for a Father's Day lunch hosted by our son. Excellent food, solicitous service, beautiful ambience, and a great dining experience! Started with spring rolls and a Joy Boy IPA which were Excellent! I had the Thai fried rice with fried Tofu. With sideways sliced jalapeños, the dish was out of this world. Finished off the lunch with chocolate ice cream and cream shared among the four of us. Will definitely be back ! Highly recommend if you are vegetarian or vegan. They make an extra effort to not use fish sauce and other things you may not want in your food.
Great theatre inspired, apparently there is a couple of these stores. Had the Thai green duck curry that was really really good.

I like this place. Big menu with lots of options & kind waitstaff. A little pricy but makes up for it in quality. Although the lunch special is a great deal. Been here a few times & it hasn't disappointed!
My go-to place for Thai food.

I have been to several of the other locations. They wee really good and the service was good.
Here the food was excellent but I will warn you. Unless you want everything at the same time. Order it in phases, otherwise they just bring everything at once for the most part, appetizers, salad, soup and entree just a few minutes later!
This is great for lunch, but for dinner you end up eating part of it cold.
That wasn’t the plan.
Otherwise everything was really good.
I will go back but I will order in how I want to eat and enjoy dinner.

Got the crispy duck curry as my first Thai dish ever, and I've been chasing that high ever since.
I've tried all of the other local Thai places and they really don't compare. I haven't had a bad experience here once in over 10 visits now. This is the best thai spot around.

The Bamee Poo-Moo Dang entree has room for improvement. The roasted pork was bland and not tender, crabmeat (didn't taste or look like crabmeat), egg noodles looked like Ramen, didn't see the beansprouts and the broth wasn't hot.
