Smoking Kow was a near weekly stop on my dining out routine when I lived in Arlington several years ago, and a return visit today had me wondering what happened in the three and a half years I've been away. While the service was friendly and helpful, the one pound of brisket I brought home was tough, with much of it simply inedible. I can't speak to the other meat selections, but if you are looking for good barbecue brisket, this might not be your best choice.

honorable mention; the guy at the register seemed easy going, that is, he didn't act like he hated his job and didn't want to be there. he was very pleasant & happy to help. very refreshing from most restaurants where they are running around and busy and stressed out.

-Kind customer service

-They close at 8pm which I wasn't aware; no close time on their door

-brisket ribs collard greens & baked beans.

Everything was delicious!

Personally I would want a bit more seasoning on everything except the baked beans.

Baked beans had a mix of what looked to be kidney beans.

Collard greens had a bit too...
