This place is practically next door to my work. Although I didn't get a coffee or latte (I've been making my own lately), I did pick up a delicious sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich (English muffin) and a banana for under $5. I noticed a secluded sitting area. Very cozy and quiet. Next time I want some peace I know where to go :)
A good Starbucks location which is part of the Westin hotel complex (though there is no connecting passage between them, you have to walk around the corner for the entrance). The expresso drinks are always done well, never bitter. The staff is always pleasant, the prices are the same as other Starbucks in the area, the sitting area is small. The only free WiFi is provided by the hotel's lobby (which is faint inside the store).
One of the less crowded Starbucks in the area with relatively low wait times. The only drawback is lack of curbside parking if you're driving but only a short walk from the surrounding offices or Westin Alexandria. Smallish area up front for ordering but there is a comfortable sitting area to the back.
