I live right next to this taco place but will drive to other Mexican restaurants as this place is just.... average. They do not even give chips and salsa instead they make you walk over to the dirty salsa bar that is not taken care of and looks disgusting. This is my main reason for not coming here.

Shiristi was great, and she helped me with the menu and happy hour specials on my first vist. She and the rest of the staff have always made me feel welcome whenever I get a chance to visit.
Overall assessment:
Hidden gem, and a great spot to meet up your friends....

The best Al Pastor tacos we've found outside of Mexico City. Tortillas are amazing. Excellent food and customer service.
2026 update: I find Taqueria Picoso hit or miss these days. Food is still good but often they are out of things, they get takeout orders wrong, or the restaurant is simply too loud (because of too many people or the music, which makes it impossible to hear to order or to talk with the people you came to done with). I want to love it but...
