Thai Lemon Restaurant

Moved to the area recently and without a doubt this is our Thai spot. Not only were the food and drinks incredible but they even went above and beyond to give our little diner his own kids plate and utensils. I have never seen that before. It was adorable and such a nice touch of hospitality. Will absolutely be back because I’m still thinking about the Bangkok Coffee.

This may be the best Thai restaurant I've attended in the DMV area, possibly even better than Crystal Thai in Arlington, which has won awards for authenticity, and is also a great restaurant.

The food is good - as the name implies, the lemony Thom Kha soup is extremely tasteful. The noodle dishes (For example, the staple Pad See Ew) are good. It's about the right price.

It's a beautiful restaurant adorned with a southern kitchen feel indoors - they should show you shots of the inside on here and the website. I wasn't able to snag a good one.

The only real negative thing I can say is the location of the restaurant makes it hard to drive to - but there's enough parking once you arrive. This is an ideal spot for a local to go on a date.

There are some reviews here commenting on spice - I was provided with four little dishes for adding some heat, and accidentally put a little too much chili on, oops. So I guess know you're ordering thai level spicy if you do that lol.

What a wonderful dining experience - Fern was wonderful! Very attentive to our table, refilling our water and making suggestions on the menu - spot on! The ambiance and light and cheery atmosphere enhanced the experience with soft Thai and US hit music in the background! Also, I was delighted by the appearance, portion size, and flavor of the food. I highly recommend - and this coming from a visitor from out of town who has 5 Thai restaurants in the family.

Let me tell you about this little gem here. 2nd visit to make sure it was not a fluke... 2nd time somehow even better then the first!! The vibe... smooth, clean, fresh and inviting. The music itself is a vibe. (Smooth Asian R&B) You will feel and taste the love in not only the food but also in the service. Owner operated diamond in the Alexandria area NOT TO BE MISSED!!! Oh and a must try.... The BEST MANGO STICKY RICE YOU'LL EVER TASTE!!

Food was delicious! I had Minced Chicken Salad. Best Thai milk tea I ever had. My daughters fiancé is a picky eater, but he loved the House Fried Rice and a Lemonade Thai tea. My Daughter enjoyed her meal as well, Pad See Ew. To finish strong we ordered the Fried Banana w/ice cream, it was lovely! Definitely recommend and coming back.

This was our first visit to Thai Lemon Restaurant in the Van Dorn Shopping Center in Alexandria. The space is clean and bright, and the staff are very friendly. I ordered a spring roll, drunken noodles with chicken, and hot ginger tea—all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Good atmosphere, relaxed ambience, and great food!

I had such a wonderful experience at this Thai restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how fresh, clean, and inviting the space felt. The decor is cute and lemon-themed, creating a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner. The neon sign on the back wall is a unique touch.

The menu offered a variety of options—including classic favorites like Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I was there with kids, and the staff readily accommodated their customizations. I recommend ordering from the lunch special menu, which includes an appetizer and main course. Everything we ordered was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh ingredients.

What really stood out was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely welcoming—it made us feel right at home.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great Thai food in a comfortable, well-kept setting. I’ll definitely be back!
