A very nice last-minute dining experience. We selected it based on a visit in 2003 and also it was close to an event we were walking to. the staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. The food was very good and reasonably priced. It was a nice seating arrangement where we experienced sufficient privacy, but also were able to exchange pleasantries with other tables.
Excellent service. Seated promptly. Friendly courteous but non-intrusive wait staff. Cocktails and wine came quickly. Cocktails very tasty. Appetizers (shrimp) and salads (spinach) were excellent, flavorful salad dressing. Entrees were superb. Frute de Mer was outstanding with fresh tender and well seasoned seafood and pasta with fragrant and lovely red sauce. Crab cakes entree in a lemon sauce with asparagus and roasted potatoes was the best ever. I have eaten crab cakes for over 40 years at various high end restaurants from Maine to Maryland to South Carolina. The ones at The Warehouse are the best I have ever eaten...crisp pan fried on the outside, with creamy elegant texture of wonderful lump crab meat on the inside...superbly seasoned and flavorful. Would definitely return! Great enjoyable night dining out at The Warehouse in Old Town.
We enjoyed an excellent brunch at the Warehouse yesterday. I got my favorite window seat and had a wonderful time just people watching and eating our scrumptious food. Will do this soon again.
Love this restaurant - ambience, warmth and food always exceptional. Friendly, attentive wait staff!
Always a great choice in Old Town! Consistent high quality food and service. But be prepared to spend $150-$200 for a full dinner for two with wine.
Fine Old-Alexanderia establishment ♡

Group of 4 adults . Went on a Wednesday evening. The food and service- and the room / decor- were all excellent . The prices were very reasonable , in my opinion. My group all selected off the main menu( they were kind of “ pushing “ the higher priced seafood specials ) we just all chose a regular entree - all were delicious . I haven't braved the traffic and gone to Old Town for quite some time , but I'm glad we did . It was really special.
Hector our waiter was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Food was excellent- the salmon he recommended was one of the best I have ever had. Any the seafood platter was also delicious. All the staff were excellent from the maître d to the bus boy. Ambience was cozy and quiet. Thank-you for such a great experience!

I really wanted to like this place as it was recommended by a friend. My husband and I went here on a date night. First, we were not greeted by the host as we walked in. The waiter asked if we wanted drinks but didn’t introduce himself. The food was Ok. I ordered the crab cakes but as I was getting ready to take the last bite, I noticed a piece of hair on my plate and mentioned it to the waiter he was nonchalant about it and said he will show it to manager. The manager didn’t come to address the issue so when I mentioned it to him he said the waiter didn’t apologized- Hell No! Didn’t even offer to take something off on the bill. At least to say we will not be returning.

Love the experience, the food was amazing. Great wait staff. Very polite and pleasant. Definitely we will be back
Our food was GOOD and in large portions. 2/4 of us chose “Cajun” meals that were nice. My husband had delicious salmon and the 4th a good sandwich. Out server was terrific. I love the atmosphere there and am looking forward to returning. My only less that positive comment is that the prices are high, especially for a casual night out.
Located in downtown Old Town Alexandria, this restaurant offers a delicious selection of seafood dishes designed to please a wide range of palates. We ordered the fruit de mer (seafood combination pasta). This includes shrimp crab as well as half a lobster. It was delicious. The jambalaya was also very good. The appetizer sea scallops were just okay served with chips and salsa It was a mix of flavors and combination which did not come together very well. The appetizer fried oysters were decent. The margarita was good here. Make a reservation if you want to come on the weekend since they get pretty busy.

You can't go wrong whether you're celebrating a special occasion or stopping for lunch on a busy day of sightseeing. Consistently good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. I had the Sautéed Shrimp Diane ($21.95), which comes with a house salad and bread basket. This old favorite is always special.
