Wonderful food but did not acknowledge birthday or birthday request which was disappointing.
Great vibes, great food. The lobster roll was so good I went two weekends in a row to get it!
All of the seafood was excellent . We had crab Louis salad Crabcake She crab soup Baked shrimp stuffed with crab imperial oatmeal pie with ice cream Julie was her server and she was excellent
We had a great outdoor eating experience with excellent weather. The service and food was very good but the outdoor setting on King Street is hard to beat with weather like today.
I went here to celebrate “Sweetest Day” (this is a celebration for men back home in the Midwest) and dinner was phenomenal! Everything was so flavorful, plentiful portions and a great ambiance! Parking was absolutely terrible, but I called to let them know we would be late and Christine was so kind, understanding and even apologetic when we finally arrived, despite the fact we were late! I was so pleased with my experience here and would definitely return.
We have been coming to the Wharf for 40 years! Always fantastic food, excellent service and a quiet ambiance.
I am glad that we didn't delay securing reservations here. It truly did not disappoint. The stuffed flounder was fresh and appetizers were remarkable. Weather permitting enjoy the outdoor seating and the wait staff are knowledgeable of the menu and very accommodating.
We had a delicious dinner and an amazing server, Racel! Will definitely return and ask for her!
The she-crab soup was delicious! Absolutely recommend that. I was surprised how quickly the food came out, which made me suspicious that the lobster in the lobster pasta may have been sitting for a while, but overall it was outstanding. I was unable to finish my cup of soup before the entree's came out, so the timing was not the best. We sat outside and were serenaded by live street music. Definitely recommend eating here for the food, atmosphere, and the walk-ability of the area after your meal.
Excellent in every way. Our server, Rashel, made the evening so perfect. She was “right in” with everything, cheerful and fun.

Food was great. We had a reservation for 8 people at 7pm. We had slow service except when server came to take plates. We were actually still eating bread when she picked up all the bread plates and took to kitchen. Not great about refills. Maybe she was upset about the 8 people? We were all easy & nice. Not sure why the slight attitude. Not exactly unfriendly just not friendly or present. Like she wanted us to just go. We only stayed an hour and 10 minutes, not long after meals arrived. Didnt ask about desserts and we had to flag her down for a spoon. The place was only half full. Disappointed as i had suggested restaurant to the group. Food was very good though but not unlike many other places in Alexandria & DC.
We very much enjoy the wharf, especially the inside seating area. Last night we sat outside on the street to give our guest the experience of the outside seating in old town. We had Jamie as a waitress and she was excellent. Timing was perfect, professionalism in serving and giving us time to talk and enjoy our evening. Jamie was awesome.
We had a spot outside. I had the Seafood sampler, 1/2 lobster, shrimp, scallops potatoes and spinach and my wife had scallops with risotto. Both were excellent and a good sized portions. Wait staff were good and we had a great time
We had a lovely time sitting outside, the server was friendly and the food was great. It's right in the walking area of Old Town Alexandria so the atmosphere was lively and fun.
We went for restaurant week, the value was not there. Spent $200, this includes 1 cocktail and 1 glass of wine. Crab cakes under cooked.
