Joe Theismann's Restaurant offers excellent food and service at a good value, although the loud atmosphere can be overwhelming due to the lack of sound-absorbing surfaces. It does a hopping business, even by 6:30, which means the area around the bar can be quite noisy. However, the staff is accommodating and can guide guests to quieter areas, though they can fill up quickly. The menu features delicious dishes, including exceptional calamari appetizers and a nicely spicy meatloaf entree served with lovely crisp-tender smashed potatoes and perfectly done green beans, making it an excellent value. While some portions may be small, the generous portions of other main dishes have received praise from guests. Be prepared for a pricey dinner, but the excellent food makes it worth it. The restaurant also has a great selection of beer and attentive service, allowing guests to enjoy a great meal if they order thoughtfully.
