Delicious coffee! Great syrup, cute interior. Supporting small business with a family farm in Panama is an added bonus. The passion fruit syrup (maracuya) is delicious in a flash brew and in the latte. The barista working said it is hit or miss for some, but I tried it with almond milk since don’t wouldn’t be too creamy and it was so good!

Excellent coffee and wonderful staff. They really know their stuff. Farm to roasting to cup. You just can get a more freshly roasted bean. Ownership of the product from start to finish.

Via Volcan Coffee in Old Town Alexandria is a true hidden gem. It can be easy to miss because of its location and low-key storefront, but once you step inside, you quickly realize this is not just another coffee shop.

It is family-owned, farm-to-cup operation, and has a level of authenticity that really stands out. The owner is personable, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He owns a coffee farm in Panama, and when he talks about the process, you can tell...
