Service was great. Plating was fancy if you care about that. The food itself was a mixed bag. The spicy fried chicken was excellent. The pork-belly bao buns were a little over cooked. I do NOT recommend the Large Plate Snapper. It was over-cooked, dry, and there was hardly any meat on that fish. $70! Honestly put me in a bad mood how bad the snapper was.

Not the place I would have picked to open up in my neighborhood… Yunnan has a great atmosphere, clean interior and friendly staff. However, the food was mediocre, especially considering the price. $30 for a “two person serving” which is very much a normal sized serving at any other noodle shop. The pork noodle bowl I ate was very neutral in flavor and the broth was… more watery than broth-y. Drinks are pricey as well ($10 for the nonalcoholic juices… like grape juice!).
