I just went to Z Burger in Alexandria and was pretty p*ssed to see an extra expense/charge listed as “Service & Packaging”. This is absolutely unnecessary when it’s not disclosed. Unlike typical taxes which are required by law, a “Service & Packaging” is not a requirement. If your overhead needs to be lifted then maybe increasing the price of the food is a better way to approach this. This is my first and last time I go to a Z Burger. Other establishments do not do this to their customers and neither should you. The young Latino man at the register was nice and respectful so when I asked him about the extra charge he said that the owner charges everyone no matter if they’re dining in or taking it to go. He was just doing his job.About the food, the double cheese burger had zero taste, the fries were supposed to be Cajun (seasoned) but they had about a 1% Cajun taste to it. I had to ask for more Cajun seasoning and the issue is with their Cajun seasoning, it sucks!! Zero Cajun taste to it.The dining room was dirty. When I walked in the place was dead and employees standing around, yet the tables weren’t wiped down and still greasy from the previous customers. I’m not happy about this place but like I said, my first time and last time I go to any Z Burgers.This is what I get for cheating on my fav Five Guys burger spot. They kicks these guys out of the water with flavor, pricing, cleanliness, great atmosphere and overall just a great experience. I won’t make this mistake again by coming to a Z Burger.***NOTE*** you will pay for that “Service & Packaging” fee no matter if you dine in or take it to-go.

This is my first review and I have to say that I absolutely loved this place I visited it last night for a quick stop, The young man at front is very polite, and talkative compare to other places I have visited around the area, the food was great but the only only downside are the prices since those are a bit high but other than that amazing experience. Definitely coming back to this location.

Had an unfortunate experience that has inspired me to write my first google review.Most disappointed that when we mentioned to the person taking our order we had a nut allergy asking if they could accommodate (they have milkshake flavors with nut allergens) they did not seem to understand what an allergy is. I had to explain the food safety process to sanitize the milkshake spinner prior to making the shake to ensure no allergen contamination. Incredibly dangerous to have staff both unaware of how to manage being alerted of an allergy and lacking knowledge how to appropriately prevent cross contamination. A conversation was had with a second employee who was involved with making the shake who also seemed to not be aware of appropriate measures to clean a milkshake spinner to prevent allergen contamination (they wanted to use a towel - which had been in use already with other shakes and flavors). I again had to explain food safety protocol for allergens. Second employee was also unaware that peanut butter flavor still was a nut allergen despite it not being a physical nut.Other than the high prices for mediocre food, very disappointed in the food safety practices and service of this establishment.

Great 1st visit. Burger was fresh and toppings also fresh and crunchy. Onion rings were also good. Topped off with a Chocolate/raspberry shake. Go for a great meal.

Food is also good, the pizza would be the only exception, I haven't tried the pizza, when they have It, often they do not, but it looks not so great. Other food is all made to order. Portions are huge. Prices are also big. Burger, fries l, drink is going to run you over $20. Tons of shake options. Definitely try it.

I've been to this Z Burger a few times and have always been very satisfied. I've always ordered a double cheese burger and small fries. The "small" fries is quite large. The burger has always been fresh and flavorful. However, the real standout (for me anyway) is they completely nail my toppings!! My burger preference is unique -- extra raw onions and an enormous amount of raw jalapeños. They are not stingy with the onions, and they are incredibly generous with the jalapeños-- I'm talking several jalapeños disks on the burger and a separate cup full of jalapeños! Naturally, I eat them all! Seriously, I've never been more impressed with a burger place.

I went tonight to a z burger because I live in the area and I was expecting to eat something delicious, since it has great reviews on the cheese steaks but I have to say that the people in the kitchen seem like they don’t care about their job, they made me wait 20 min for one single original cheeseteak, specially the guy in the grill was just walking around, taking his time, never coming back, such a long wait for a fast food restaurant.
Food - The burgers here are decent. If you're someone that loves burgers, believe me, there are way better options out there. But, the food here isn't terrible. It's your typical burger spot with fries and a drink. Service - customer service here is okay. They tend to get orders right, which is important because I'll turn around and kick the doors open and walk in like "who made my order!" Better recognize! Ambiance - Ehh

This place serves some amazing hamburgers and quality food. The variety of sauces and meals is perfectly combined with the food, and the size of the fries is simply amazing. The hours on Fridays and Saturdays are incredible. I absolutely love this place and would definitely go back again. Five stars!

Great stop for a quick bite to eat. Little pricey as compared to Cookout but milkshakes were good and burger was a tad better. I got a Oreo shake and a single with cheese with Z sauce, lettuce, tomato, picked, and fried onions. All toppings are included, and they have quite a few more as well. Service at this location was pleasant and friendly.

Food overall is good but something has been wrong with their milkshake machine. It tastes like burnt metal, I ordered one recently and a few months ago and was surprised they haven't gotten it fixed yet. We threw that toxic stuff right in the trash.
