Ordered a pork chili verde burrito. It wasn't on the menu, but the waiter said they could make it. It was hugely disappointing. The pork was fatty and not flavorful. There was a flour burrito open-ended wrapped around the pork, with some watery green tart-tasting sauce poured on top and around the "burrito". It wasn't wonderful.
The food was pretty good, although I prefer their bedford location. The portions seemed smaller at this location and the food wasn't seasoned as well either. The service was great and food came out promptly
The El Cerrito, has fine Hispanic cuisine. very nice heat on the shrimp diablo. The atmosphere is less desirable than once. as they have TVs in the corners and a radio on at the same time. The noise level is a bit high. The servers are great, courteous, clean and efficient.
