Great Food and Service. I’m just typing this review to let anyone know that I was there a couple days ago. Beware of roaches. They don’t have a Infestation. I talked to one of the waitresses and she told me they spray it once a week.so it’s probably due to the heat. I just wanted to let anyone know that squeamish of bugs to beware.
Grew up in Chicago in an Italian neighborhood. Got moved out to DC, then retired in Pittsville. In the 15 years I've been in Virginia (including DC), this is the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at. Most restaurants out here are just awful, egg noodles, and ketchup aweful. The sauce (Gravy) is great, not out of a jar. I've found out here in Virginia that people love Ragu type sauce. You know thin with loads of sugar. The sauce here is chunky, with more garlic...
Let me start with, our server was amazing! Great service and the food was delicious.
The bad: They didn't have our drink choice, anything with fried chicken, or lasagna (the whole purpose of our visit). After the lack of menu choices, we probably will not return.
