Great sandwiches! The chicken caprese panini is always crispy-pressed and the pesto haunts the bites in a fun way. Get the in-house chips. The pizza is delicious, not New York style, which I miss out here in Nelson, but a perfect brick oven style. Margherita is my suggestion. Ask for it crispy. Service is kind and attentive. I keep giving Vito’s another chance but Sunday order a cheese steak with onions, green peppers, no mushrooms for a friend that had been traveling and was hungry and as they took a bite all they had was a lot of lettuce, tomato big chunks of green peppers and barely any meat.
Absolutely my go to Italian north of the James! Wide menu, I've eaten here many times, haven't come close to trying everything, but I haven't been disappointed yet with anything I've tried. They nail all the things that make Italian great, legit dough, house made sauces and dressings, intense flavors. Glad to have them nearby!
