I ordered japchae three times at the Enandale rice cake shop, but each time I ordered it, it swelled and broke, so I couldn't eat it with chopsticks. This restaurant didn't seem to make the food today, so I decided not to order food anymore.

Best banchan Korean side dishes and rice cakes in town. Best kimchi of all kinds. Best Korean soups and sauce. Ttukbokki in the morning is the best! I get ttukbokki and kimbap on the way to work to start the day. Gotta eat it while it's still steaming hot.

I've been buying and eating side dishes here for years, but I just can't resist, so I'm posting them here. There have been two instances where I bought godeulppaegi and threw it away because it had white mold growing on it. Still, I passed on it because it was a side dish restaurant I had been using for a long time. Of course, I didn't buy godeulppaegi after that, but yesterday I wanted to make bibimbap, so I bought sasaek greens and opened them to eat today, and a sour smell came out, so I looked and saw that the pumpkin was completely damaged and the juice was forming droplets. It didn't seem like it was left alone for a day or two. I paid $12 to see how hot it was. I think everyone knows that the side dishes at this place are not cheap. I don't want to go here anymore. If you are going, please check carefully when purchasing side dishes.

This place has more variety of the traditional Korean food than the other places in Annandale. Dduk is always fresh and tasty. Ban chains are good.
