Well Worth the Drive ☕️
The coffee offerings were excellent, A+ for a black pour-over. — The best baristas —
Cheerfully let me sample the two coffees I was interested in. When I decided, he took the trouble to find me the freshest batch.
It wasn’t busy mid-Saturday afternoon. Looked like a good place to hang out… but I had too many errands to do.
Love this coffee shop. We’ve been getting our beans from here for years. Great quality coffee and excellent variety. The staff are also very kind and helpful!
This place is great! So friendly and knowledgeable! Our business is getting started with a coffee menu and there is no coffee better to use than Beanetics freshly roasted beans and blends. Kema by Kenaki is excited to use the best! Thank you!
Not friendly. Poor customer service.
Been buying my fresh roasted coffee beans here for years!
Overall a pleasant experience with friendly staff. Some constructive criticism: The mocha has way too much syrup and completely ruins the quality of the coffee. We go to roasters to taste the coffee, even if it’s a mocha. Just my two cents.
People they are so kind
Never coming here again. First time ordering drinks, i only buy beans from previous owner. Ordered a medium macchiato, supposed to be 16 oz. Barely over half of the medium, and they charged me 7 dollars for it. This is what they gave me… i only drank one sip and the foam melted, showing how little coffee there was…
I happen to be next-door picking up a cake from Tiffany when a chance upon this roastery in the nondescript strip mall.
To my surprise, the first thing you see when you walk in is this big roasting machine with many but looks like a 5 gallon plastic white buckets of coffee beans labeled appropriately.
The proprietor‘s wife happened to be there at that time, and I asked them about the roasting process and the roasting frequency. Apparently a “professional roaster“ does the roasting and they sell the beans on premise.
I bought the two bags of beans in the photo, and tried the Bali blue moon the next day. The aroma, while the beans sat in the car was an indication of how good the coffee might taste. It did not disappoint when I made the coffee for me and my Habesha Habibi!! She also commented on the amazing aroma.
Clearly, the pound of coffee is more expensive than other places. It’s probably partly due to their labor of love and the fluctuating market prices of Coffee these days.
You love coffee, and you’re willing to pay for consistent, freshly ground coffee, then you can’t go wrong with a medium to light or medium roast coffees. I’m not a big fan of medium, dark and dark roasted copies.
By the way, I first sip the black coffee in the morning to get the authentic taste and then mix in a little bit of condensed milk, oat milk, a teaspoon of half-and-half, and a teaspoon of heavy cream to get a creamy, milky, coffee taste. My parents are from the southern state of Kerala, India, and we drink our coffee with rich whole milk.
I love supporting small independent roasters, because I know it’s difficult to make a living if they don’t have a loyal following.
By the way, if you want to lower the average cost per cup, you can also use 70 to 80% of their coffee with 10 to 20% of a cheaper but not cheap for being Coffee without diminishing the overall taste by a lot (IMHSO in my honest subjective opinion).🙂
Highly recommend! This is a hidden gem! I found out they roast their own beans, and the coffee is seriously SO fresh. You can really taste the quality. I’m not even a regular coffee drinker, but this is way better than Starbucks or Dunkin’. The smell is amazing too. I actually drive out of my way just to grab coffee here for me and my family. It’s that good!

Great choices for whole bean coffee! We like blends, e.g., Bali Blue Moon and Lucy and varietals, e.g., Ethiopia and Sierra Madre. Join their club and get credits and notices for sales. We saved 20% today.

July 2025 the lady that makes the coffee early in the am is EXTREMELY SLOW. She makes a good coffee but the overall experience is almost entirely ruined by how slow she moves. Management leaves her by herself too which is poor managing at its finest. It took close to 30 min for her to make 2 cups of coffeee. Get her some help! She's too slow ever work alone at any time of the day. I planned for this stop take 10 min and it ended up being close to 30 and pushed other plans back. That's ridiculous.

Nice small local coffee shop and roaster. The lady always there in the morning makes the perfect cup every time I love it.

Stopped by a couple times in the same week I was visiting the east coast. Grabbed an iced coffee both times and the coffee was great. My wife had a latte and that was good as well. We split a pastry and that was also pretty good. The first time I stopped by, the shop was empty and there was a very friendly woman working. The second time I went in, there were a couple young ladies working, but they were both invested into their phones. There were quite a few people sipping coffee in the shop at the time, but I thought it was a bad look. The customers were all taken care of already when I areived, but when I ordered 2 coffees and a pastry, I expected the pastry and coffee to be ready at the same time, but we had to remind the person who took my order to grab our bread. It's just a bad look when the staff wasn't busy.
Anyway, coffee is great. Ill go back. Management should have a chat.
