Burnt brown sugar did not disappoint

I’m a regular at this place , last 5 visits The mango sago drink has been super watery, and barely any mango flavor in it. $8 a drink seems pretty steep for something that’s mostly melted ice and toppings. I would suggest other boba tea places

I'm a regular customer who visits weekly, and I always order the same thing — so I know when it's wrong. On June 27 at 7:46 PM, I ordered online and waited 20 minutes, which is the longest I've ever waited. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect. I went back to have it replaced, but even the replacement was still wrong.

It was also clear that they were short-staffed — only one person was working. To add, the drink I received was definitely not the same Purple Taro I always order.

Great spot, consistent drinks, I don't normally review Milk tea places but this place is definitely worth a try!

Lacks basic customer service. I just got my drinks and accidentally dropped it. When I asked if I can get another one, I was denied when I just paid for a drink I didn’t even get a sip of. Mind you, we did get other drinks too, so that wasn’t the only drink we ordered.

Just lost a customer over $6.

Liked how Ben Gong used to put 6-8 fresh fruit slices in their tea drinks but now they got 2.

I love trying out places with unique drinks and Ben Gong's Tea in Annandale is a location with many unique drinks. Of course, they have your traditional boba tea and various fruits teas but I love their fermented rice milk tea series. I appreciate how a lot of their drinks come with crystal jellies already too. Also highly recommend their strawberry yukult if you love fruity and sweet drinks!

Their drinks are not very sweet to begin with so if you prefer sweeter drinks I recommend going with 70%+ sugar. Around 50% and less it isn't really sweet anymore!

A let down. I just wanted a hot tea and they served me an iced tea. Didn't seem interested in correcting it.

Ordered hot Orange Jasmine Tea. Flavor was quite good but the drink was just about luke warm.

Been to other locations and the drinks taste different here and so much better; the milk here doesn’t taste like fresh milk, more like a little bit milk + a lot of water; I was also disappointed that this store uses another rewards system than the ones in Maryland; also downloaded the App, but shows the store is closed for business— but it is open, feels like a scam to ask customers to download the App

Don't think all tapioca ball tea is sweet. The osmanthus rice milk tea isn't that sweet so try it if you don't want something so sweet. It's a bit more expensive. I don't remember how much.. was it 6.75$?

I walked in on a day where it seemed that their services were down. They only took cash, and the cashier had to write our order on a piece of paper. She calculated the price on the paper, which took a long time. There was only one other person working and making our drinks. Once we got our drinks, they were not very good. We ordered boba and did not get any, and the drinks that came with boba had very hard boba that tasted like cardboard. All in all, it was a bad experience and we did not enjoy our drinks.
