Very disappointing soup dumplings. Out of the 8 soup dumplings in my order, only 1 actually had soup inside. I asked the person who took my order about this and he actually told me "that's just how it is."
This review is for their DC location at Bryant St Market in NE DC. Super delicious soup dumplings. The handheld buzzer system provides a very organized way to wait for your meal so that you can pick your table at wait for it to be ready rather than hovering around the counter. The food is not pre-prepared so there is a little bit of a wait, but it comes out hot and super duper fresh which is worth it in my opinion.

Sigh. It's never a good sign when you pick it because it's the last place open. They gave us our soup dumplings eat in even though we said carry out. They were oversteamed or something...all of them had no soup in them. Then the soup was leaking out of the bottom of the bamboo steamer. We waited 30 minutes... they gave my partner the dumplings first. Then we waited longer... and instead of giving him the other part of his order (some steak bowl) they tried to give him dumplings...read full review
