Something about this place being in the basement of a nondescript office building in Annandale makes it seem more authentic! You go down one flight of stairs and into a bright and cheerful restaurant.Our server was lovely, and prompt and the menu is great. The food is delicious. Parking is also good. There is a lot of quantity. But the two women serving me really don't feel like cursing ^^ Don't they curse at customers who can't speak Korean? I said I came at 8 o'clock, not hello. Oh, I wanted to go home quickly, but I couldn't. I said goodbye. They asked me to leave by 8:40, but they told me to come back as soon as possible ^^ The owner here is having a hard time finding people, so of course he won't hire them and will continue...read full review

First off, everyone was super nice, the food came out fast, and the portions were humongous! Be aware-- if you get the gotbeggi portion size, it's literally fit for 3-4 people. Ambiance was very casual-- good to come with friends or family. As for the food, I really recommend the Tangsooyook-- the meat was super chewy, soft, and thick. Probably the best Tangsooyook I've had in the DMV area. The fried dumplings were also great, but also it's hard to go wrong with fried dumplings....read full review
