The food is not bad. For the area, not one of the best, but not one of the worst either, as far as Bolivian cuisine of course. The reason I’m giving them 4 stars is their cuñapes and empanadas ARE the best in the area. I’ve tried pretty much all the Bolivian restaurants in the area and this place, by far has the best empanadas and cuñapes. If those are what you really want, go here!
La Cochabambinita offers authentic Bolivian food in the United States, with traditional flavors and generous portions. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. Star dishes include salteñas and pique macho. An ideal place to enjoy Bolivian cuisine.
I was in a rush and just had 2 salteñas, but they were great. The workers were friendly even though they were about to close on 1/2 hour. The restaurant has a very basic presentation, hopefully in the future they will add some decorations and make it look more native or typical. Bathroom was clean. ?
