The worst service and the worst tofu soup! The soup was very salty and their soft tofu had no texture at all! It was just like you’re grinding it into a smoothie. Just a hot small bowl of tofu soup took them about over 30 minutes to make given there was no customer waiting at all! The server never comes to your table to ask how you were doing with your food or what else you need. I would never go back again.

I drove 45 minutes from Dumfries to meet my friend at this restaurant because both Google and Yelp listed the closing time as 11:00pm. We arrived around 9:30pm, ordered right away, and our food came out by 9:45. Everything seemed fine until 10:05 PM, when a Hispanic staff member handed us the bill and said, “We’re closing”
I asked about the hours, since both online and the sign outside said 11pm, and he replied “maybe 10:15- 10:20”. That was confusing enough, but things got worse, while we were still eating (around 10:15), a young Asian lady came over and said, “The register is now closed.”
The food itself was good, but the service was very disappointing. Several other parties came in around 10:15 and were told “take-out only”. What made it worse is that, just a few minutes after I paid, the same staff member came back to collect tips, right after saying the register was closed.
I shared my feedback politely to the staff member and the staff just repeated that the register was closed — yet somehow they were still accepting take-out orders?
If the restaurant truly wants to close early, that’s understandable, but please be transparent. Update the hours online and clearly post a sign that says “Last dine-in seating at 10pm” so customers don’t drive long distances only to be rushed out mid-meal.
The food deserves a better experience than this kind of service. Hopefully, management takes this feedback seriously.

The staff were extremely helpful but more importantly the food was delicious! We ordered the tofu soup which is such a comfort food especially during fall and winter. You get to pick the spice level of pretty much everything and the portions were extremely generous. Overall a delightful experience and I would recommend on a cold night!

Walked in at 10:05 and was told they were closed. Google indicates they are open till 11pm. Please update your hours if you close at 10pm instead of 11:00, it is misleading and waste of time

Great tasting food (tofu soups). Taking 1 star off as Tip Inflation is insane at this restaurant. The suggested tip on the bill starts at 20%… all the way up to something like 30%. I would suggest the restaurant do a reality check.
