I love lighthouse tofu! It's a no frills, authentic and homey feeling experience. The tofu soup here is so comforting and flavorful. You can select from so many different types of proteins - just be careful on the spice level because it can get pretty hot!

One of my favorite Korean places. It is not your regular Korean food but the tofu based stew is probably one of the most delicious. I have never been to Korea but I would venture to guess that it is pretty authentic. I also love the small plate appetizers they give out for free, the cucumbers are the best.Pro: Authentic, Delicious, Good portion, Banchan (small plate appetizers)Con: Most of the staff does not speak English so special request would be difficult.I would give it higher ratings but the price is getting insane. I was here 3 years ago and it was only 11.50 for a bowl but now it is 18 dollars. It is nearly double. It seems like every few months they raise th price up by a dollar. Feels like price gouging.

Good food. Kimchi is not fermented enough to give the authentic Korean experience, but love the raw egg and broth. Would recommend.

Quick service, delicious food, and fair prices!! We came here at around 2 pm on a rainy Saturday and were seated immediately. From the looks of the tables clearing out, it seemed like we had just missed the lunch rush. It's so good I would highly recommend for a comforting bowl of Korean food. The banchan is also good and can tell it's house made!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! This place was amazing!! My first experience at an authentic Korean Soup place and I cannot wait to go back! We went on a cold rainy day and it was perfect to sip on delicious spicy tofu soup! They give a ton of side dishes that are refilled which complimented the meal perfectly! These people are very efficient and bring your food out super quickly! My favorite thing was the fresh raw egg they serve which you crack directly into the soup that is served boiling! It cooks the egg nicely and is so yummy! I had the vegetarian mushroom soup which was delicious! For it being veggie, i was surprised at the amount of flavor it had! This place was very spacious and open with a ton of tables! Despite it looking small from the outside, the inside can hold many parties!

Took away from the crowds, this is one of those places that you have to know about beforehand. They have the best kimchi that I have tried at a restaurant, the soups are amazing, and the bibambap was very unique. I will be coming back.

Came hungry for lunch and left very satisfied! Their bonchon (appetizers) are extremely fresh and their kimchi sauce was delicately flavored. Portion sizes are reasonable given prices and service was quick. Only improvement is because their known for tofu, most of their meat dishes are mixed with tofu and as a result you receive less meat than other restaurants (for example the Bibimbap)... Other than that would recommend!

I am glad that I choose this place because the tofu soup with beef & pork is very good! Love it during lunch, packed the leftover home, still love it during dinner. The kimchi pancake is good too.I do want to say that the service is quite slow, and it can be very packed in lunch hours. Additionally I hope they would also serve Galbi and other meat during lunch, instead of dinner only.

great casual spot for lunch or dinner. I’m from nyc and their flavors reminded me of this one tofu house I used to go to regularly in nyc (they unfortunately closed down) a long time ago. Authentic flavors and great lunch and combo deals. Service was excellent as well. Will definitely be coming back for more!

This place reminds me so much of home in the 626, and although it is not the best tofu house that I've ever been to the ambience and friendliness of the staff is very inviting, and I have yet to find a better tofu soup place. The seafood pancake was nice and soft although I feel like it could have had a better seafood to batter ratio. The tofu soup could have been a bit spicier, but I chose a medium spice and it just tingled my mouth a little bit. The Bonton was plentiful, and the barley tea was very warm; I will say, though, however, that they put the hot tea in a plastic cup, which is not ideal. The staff was really nice and made sure to keep our teacup full and overall it's a pretty small menu, but again they do specialize in tofu soups, so that is to be expected. Lovely place to dine in on a cold wintry day.
