Best value Korean bakery around. We spent about $70 here so while we didn’t try one of everything, we did have a good selection. All great and we figure it would be close to double in the big chains. Owner was kind enough to compliment my Korean so nice bonus :)

Very unassuming. More affordable prices than surrounding bakeries but does not compromise on quality

This traditional Korean bakery offers a variety of classic Korean bakery items, including buns, bread with bean-based fillings, donuts, rolls, traditional bite-sized cookies, cakes, and desserts like bingsu. In contrast to other well-known Korean bakeries in the vicinity, they focus on traditional rather than modern pastries and desserts. The service is efficient, and while the bakery is a bit dated, it is well-maintained. The prices are generally fair. They have simple essential drinks like tea and coffee on the menu but do not have specialty / gourmet coffee drinks.

My experience here was so awful, very very very rude man in the front, bald on the top of his head with hair barely holding on the side of his head, very rude. My friend had brought a cake and told me to meet them there and I had new china and came to meet my friend. The old man sees me eating with my friend and tells me to get out very loud and in front of everyone. Very embarrassing, I understand that I wasn’t having their food but my friend was eating a little cake she had brought from there, he could’ve just asked us to leave or for me not to eat there instead of yelling at us in front of everyone to get out.

Love this place, I come here often. The owner(s) are Korean and so are most of the patrons. I usually stop by to grab a red bean bun or another pastry and I've never been disappointed. I've read another review ab cockroaches, been coming here for years and I've yet to see one. Would definitely recommend you stop by at least once.

Napoleon Bakery brought back such lovely memories of my childhood grabbing my favorite treats from old fashioned, traditional Korean bakeries in America. I am so glad this place is here and will be coming back often! The gentleman (owner?) working late on Saturday cracked some jokes with me in Korean and was very kind. The ggwabaegi was PERFECT and we loved the sweet potato breads!

This review is for the service only.Had this place saved on my Want to Go list for awhile and finally made it here for some treats. Made my selection (probably 10 pieces to share with colleagues), approached the counter and waited for someone to come help me. An older lady appeared from the back room, looked at me, not a word of acknowledgement, then a Korea patron approached from the bread area, stood next to me in a way that felt like she was trying to squeeze in and force me to move. No words from either women. Then the customer opened her Google Wallet to pay.I had this WHAT THE F feeling. Looked at her as if to say... Do you not see me here? I left the basket of bread and went to Manoa Bakery down the street. There are so many Korean Bakeries in the area that if you don't feel welcome, then you don't have to patronize them. I will never know how their food tastes and that's fine. The service is blah.

I highly recommend their mochi with red bean paste center made fresh daily. Been buying from them for years. It is very soft and delicious and very reasonably priced compare to Sheila Bakery, you get 2 versus 1 there. The quality rivals wagashi shops in Tokyo, Japan I kid you not.

I had the fruit Bingsoo and my taste buds were dancing with joy. The sweet milky texture was great. My Korean friend said this is true traditional Bingsoo though I chose the one without red bean. Their pastries were also good.

Love their cakes, bread everything. My cake was 30.00 came with a cute box, candle and plastic knife to cut the cake, who does that anymore. I just really love their service and their cakes are really good. Not too sweet at all. Mango cake was amazing!! Seriously if you haven't tried it yet you should, not as expensive as the other places and they treat you with kindness.
