About Pupuseria la familiar

Pupuseria La Familiar is a restaurant known for its delicious and authentic food. Customers have consistently enjoyed their pupusas, baleadas, and Plato típico, praising the fresh flavors and tasty meals. The service is often described as great, with attentive staff who make guests feel welcome, contributing to a positive dining experience. Many appreciate that the new location maintains the quality and flavors of the original Falls Church site, with some reviews mentioning their favorite dishes like pupusas and fried yucca. However, some concerns were raised about portion sizes for takeout, which have become smaller and less worth the price. Additionally, a few customers noticed small cockroaches in takeout containers, raising questions about cleanliness. Despite this, overall, visitors find the food excellent and the experience enjoyable, especially highlighting the authenticity of the flavors. A minor suggestion for improvement is lowering the music volume to create a more comfortable ambiance. Pupuseria La Familiar continues to be a popular spot for flavorful pupusas and other traditional dishes.

Service was great. people here are super nice and kind. Recommended! food was so good. specially the pupusas!
I have experienced positive service and food has been delicious when I have ordered eat in or pick I haven’t had a bad experience so far 🙂 for this reason I am given them 5 stars. I do recommend their pupusas and baleadas as well their Plato típico 🙂.
I only recommend to the manager there is to lower the music a little bit for a better more comfortable ambiance.
We used to go to the Falls Church location and fell in love with the flavors there. So happy that they were able transfer all of that to the new location, as well. We had nine total pupusas, all being great, and the fried yucca and chicharron appetizer; delicious. We'll be back, for sure.
