“Finally a good Chinese restaurant! Super affordable and quick service. The cucumbers and potstickers are a must have. Spicy beef noddle soup was pretty good. My partner got the rice and pork chops which were the most tender and well seasoned I’ve had in a while. I don’t love the scallion pancakes because they were a little too thick to my liking. You can tell everything is home made with love.“

“Such a cute little modern spot. All the food was great and fresh. Fries, bao, popcorn chicken, and pork belly were all great. Good beer selection. Loved all the different beer glasses. Went in on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t very busy at all. Waiter checked on us consistently (sometimes that’s actually an issue when it’s slow, but not here!) will def be back to try the rest of the menu.Dietary restrictions: Popcorn chicken is gluten free. There are other options noted as gluten free too. Nice to have some options that aren’t boring or bad substitutes. Hard to find any sort of breaded chicken that’s gluten free. Bravo!“

“Authentic Chinese flavors! If you’re craving yummy rice noodles, Yanzi House has tons of great options. We tried the pork and mushroom and beef flank options. Both were tasty. I haven’t had thick rice noodles like these since living in China. Be sure to also get the beef burrito and calimari. This was all so good! We’ll be back!“

“I got the Taiwanese popcorn chicken dish and was surprised with how generous the portion is compared to other establishments I've been to. Food was served hot, we dined in and waited a little bit. Boba was pretty good. I'll definitely come back when I'm craving some popcorn chicken.“

“I'm visiting DC for my first time and decided to try Momo's as my first restaurant in the area. It set a great tone for my trip. The braised pork, which is flavorful and soft, and hakkaido milk tea are outstanding and true to Taiwanese cuisine. I didn't like the Taiwanese sausage quite as much, but the popcorn chicken left a better impression. All this considered along with the prices being around par for what you get makes this an easily recommendable restaurant for those looking for authentic Taiwanese food.“

“Really great bao with a cool second restaurant concept in the back! Highly recommend the bulgogi and the mushroom bao. The food is delicious, but the atmosphere is a bit strange. Not a bad thing, but the Bun’d Up portion of the restaurant runs more like a takeout only vibe even though there are tables. I like the vibe, but be warned before expecting anything fancier than fast casual tables. I’ve never eaten at the second concept restaurant in the back, but it looks like slightly nicer table service compared to the Bun’d Up portion in the front.“

Braised Pork Rice

“The popcorn chicken was so good, and a big portion too! The beef noodle soup was ok - the broth was flavorful and the beef plentiful, but the noodles themselves were overcooked and mediocre. Would definitely be back though just for the popcorn chicken, and maybe to try other dishes.“
