“I have been going to Carmines every since they opened. No place is perfect and to get good employees and keep them is really hard, especially in this day and time. While Appomattox does have a variety of Italian restaurants, I can honestly say that I don't think you'll find fresher ingredients anywhere else like you do at Carmines. From the pizza, to subs/pitas and salads, to their yummy cheese bread. The employees I encounter are super sweet and hard working. Give them a try if you haven't ever ... I think you'll agree they are the best Pizzeria around!”

“The negative comments on here must have been bad luck because I've been here more than a dozen times and the food, service, and wait time have always been excellent. I especially love the street tacos. It's also a fun place to celebrate a birthday. The Taco Wagon has been a most welcome addition to the Appomattox area.”

“Came across the River Ridge location today while Christmas shopping. The banana bread, the pumpkin cookie, the cake pop, all so so good. Such a great little find. Can’t wait to try more.”

“Entering here, we were taken back to another time. We were in town hoping to see the Historic End of the Civil War complex during the early days of the shutdown. The waitress asked us if we were here to see the 'Surrenderin' Grounds'. Excuse me? The 'Surrenderin' Grounds' What a unique way to describe this place. I digress, the food was good, the service was good, the menu was not modern. Hot roast beef sandwich, so good but seldom seen. Worth a stop”

“Marshals just celebrated their first year of being open and I can't thank them enough for the countless memories we have already created so far for the line dance and live music community. Over the past couple of weeks there has been more staff added and the stage and sound system has undergone a MAJOR upgrade. Love the place, love the food, love the atmosphere.”

“Hidden gem! I am not sure if they make their own bread, but it is so good! I ordered the Italian and my husband ordered a calzone & my dad ordered their spaghetti (which came with bread and a fresh salad) Service was wonderful and so were prices. We will be going back gor sure.♡”

“We came here out of curiosity, and we were pleasantly surprised! They didn't have buffet, but we didn't plan on one anyway. I LOVED the shrimp fried rice, it was the first I've ever had that was so well-seasoned! The service was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, the food came fast, and best of all, it was inexpensive!”

“The service really stood out. Dark haired girl with tattoos was super friendly and accommodating. She made time to talk to us and check on how we liked everything. Definitely made us feel like we were important and this is the kind of hospitality that will bring us back”

“Excellent food. Great Staff. Stopped by on way home from Richmond at 540am. The staff was so friendly, greeted me with a smile. Best Hardee's breakfast I have had in long time. Steak was perfect, not greasy. Sausage was cooked perfectly. Egg was plentiful and tasted good. Biscuits were Excellent. They melted in your mouth. So glad I stopped by.”

“Just love..And it can be budget freindly...best kept secret. I'm not sure about the other sandwich meat, but I know that with the tuna you can buy a 6 inch or 12 inch helping of tuna. They put it in a container ( once again --of just the tuna ) to take home and make your own sandwich. I believe the 6 inch potion was like $1.50 and the 12 inch portion was $3.50 might of been less”

“Waynesboro va McDonald's is the best ever. I go every morning for my coffee. The morning crew is amazing, all of them so polite and happy!! They absolutely start my day off wonderful, the coffee helps too 😊”
