Adorable establishment in downtown Appomattox serving New York style pizza and other sandwiches, pitas and salads. We just moved to the area and are trying all of the local gems. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, as that is kind of how we judge our Pizza spots! It was amazing! Nice and thin with lots of the “good cheese”, and they definitely did not skimp on the pepperoni. Im working in the area at the moment, from out of town, and tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza. 9.8 out of 10. Its amazing a must try, the pizza crust is amazing great crunch and Great service! A must try if your in the area!
I have been going to Carmines every since they opened. No place is perfect and to get good employees and keep them is really hard, especially in this day and time. While Appomattox does have a variety of Italian restaurants, I can honestly say that I don't think you'll find fresher ingredients anywhere else like you do at Carmines.
