My husband really enjoyed his breakfast. I had the pancakes and they were not that good. The service was a bit slow, but the couple at the table next to ours were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them. They were local business owners, and they were retiring after owning the business for thirty five years.
Popped in here while driving across Virginia and so glad we did! Country fried steak was fantastic, devine cornbread, okra fried to perfection, pillowy soft rolls and homemade whipped mashed potatoes. Definitely will make this a regular stop when we cross Virginia.
I guess I must have liked it!!!!!
I was simply traveling through; but, I will stop here again if I am around!
(By the way, the best biscuit I have had in decades!)
