As we were traveling to Appomattox Courthouse, we happened upon this great little spot. The most mouthwatering BBQ pork ever. Macaroni and cheese, slaw and hush puppies were all delicious. The owner was so nice and explained the menu. He also brought out our food to the shady picnic tables. This was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend this place if you are a BBQ fan.
My wife and I stopped here on a visit to Appomattox Courthouse and stopped because of the previous reviews. We got the pulled pork sandwiches with hot barbecue and they were delicious. The pork was moist and perfectly cooked, and the mac and cheese was creamy and very cheesy. The real star was the hush puppies, which had a perfect texture and breading.
