You really can't go wrong with Icelands. They started in 2020 at the height of the Covid pandemic which put a lot of businesses future in a category of uncertainty but ever since then they have only increased in business, built a huge clientele and even became a major staple to the Appomattox community. I got a large oreo snowstorm and the wife got a hardshell dipped sundae. Both were delicious. Had dinner at taco wagon (which was awesome) but saved room to cross the street for desert. Highly recommend icelands.
They did not hand me my ice cream, they placed my order on the wet counter after it had rained. It bothered me because after the tablet asks you for a tip, you expect some sort of hospitality. No spoons or napkins. The presentation of the apple pie sundae is great but it did not taste as good as it looks. Maybe the scooped ice cream is better. Maybe it was a bad day but better service will make this place better.
