Old friend reunion. Staff was accommodating to putting us at a table out of the way. Even the picky eater in the group found things he liked! Every dish we tried was excellent. My favorite, the moussaka and drunken mussels. Hubby loved the lamb and picky friend had 3 servings of the goulash. Will definitely return the next time we are in the area! Service was great and very accommodating.

We were placed in the basement, which has a very different atmosphere (and a moldy smell) from the main floor. Wanted to order wine from the wine list, but was told they only had the by the glass selections on the standard menu. Overall, great food but not the most attentive service.

Food is always good, staff is always excellent, I'm a taller guy so the plants usually get in the way of me walking which isn't fun. I also think it's a bit overpriced. Walked out of there at $105 including tip for 2 people and 5 - 99 cent drinks. Wasnt a great value imo

Me and my husband have enjoyed the Ambar location in Capitol Hill multiple times, so when we saw this location was near our friend's place in Clarendon, we had to check out this one, too. We came here for brunch and everything we ordered was very delicious. I especially liked the apple waffle and the sausages. We did feel that the price was a little high for what was essentially lunch/breakfast. But we will probably still go back.

World class experience here at Ambar. The food was healthy, yet delicious and served in perfect tapas-sized portions. Service was always on par and very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely visit again in the future to try other menu items I did not sample on my first visit here.
